A leading global digital transformation and consulting business won a small yet strategic assignment within a prestigious higher education institution.
Due to an increased demand of data analytics skills across multiple accounts, an urgent need emerged as a result of no internal capability being available to commence the assignment – putting the planned sprints and committed timelines at risk of not being delivered, and potentially posing a greater impact to a broader program of works.
Working closely with the Consulting Scrum Master and Resource Manager, the provenio people team provided invaluable market insights and guidance on the combination of sought skills and expertise to get the job done – after which, it was determined that the need required two separate functions: one to create the solution design and another to develop and test.
With the timelines brought forward and the assignment carrying a critical dependency for other works under the broader program, provenio people needed to identify two specialist consultants with informatica and data analytics expertise, within 48 hours, ready to be on-boarded and commence assignment, the following week.
By ensuring the right capability, within the required timeframe, provenio people was able to remove the associated impacts of the assignment and it’s planned sprint schedule not commencing on time – further resulting in the successfully delivery of other key projects with linked dependencies under the program of work.
A leading global digital transformation & system integrator won a significant, multi-billion-dollar, contract to replace an ageing and highly complex CRM system.
A key function of the program was a team of specialist testers, and with numerous failed attempts to recruit the right people and capability, provenio people was engaged to help steer the testing delivery back-on-track.
Partnering with the Head of Testing and working closely with the newly appointed Program Test Manager, provenio people played an instrumental role in transforming the on-shore testing delivery and up-lifting its capability, through the timely provision of an augmented team of highly skilled and motivated testers, covering:
• Test Leads
• Automation Testers
• Functional Testers; and
• PeopleSoft SME Testers.
Our testing team was able to come-up-to-speed, quickly understanding complex subject matter, selecting and implementing the automation tools and framework, and establishing an effective working relationship with the vendors off-shore test team – adding significant value and helping to stabilise the testing delivery on the program.
A global Digital Transformation Services and Solutions client who has a small footprint in the ANZ region, with ambitious plans to penetrate the Australian market, needed to aggressively scale their technical delivery team for an opportunity that was critical to supporting their strategic growth plans.
However, with low brand awareness within the Australian marketplace, little knowledge of local talent networks – and how best to tap into them, compounded by restricted resourcing capacity and inefficient hiring and on-boarding processes, meant our client was faced with the real prospect of not being able to scale quickly and efficiently with the right people – placing their opportunity at risk, before it had even commenced.
By insourcing our embedded people partner capability, our on-the-ground-team was able to work in close collaboration with the executive sponsor and key stakeholders – quickly establishing a clear understanding on the key business objectives, before creating a fit-for-purpose solution, that would be able to meet the aggressive scale-up timeframes.
